Inc. 5000 2021 Names 36 VIP Graduate Companies in List of Fastest Growing Private Companies in America

Inc. 5000 named 36 businesses who graduated from the Veteran Institute for Procurement (VIP) in its annual list of fastest growing companies in America. Of the 36 VIP Graduate companies listed, 20 of them were also featured on last year’s Inc. 5000 list, 10 are woman-owned, and 3 are in the top 100.

VIP is a certification training program designed for veteran-owned companies to increase their ability to win government contracts by establishing best business practices. VIP arms veteran-owned small businesses to win contracts in the Federal Marketplace. VIP participants are provided with specific knowledge and best practices to help accelerate their businesses. Some of the session topics include Strategic Planning in the Federal Marketplace, Financing Solutions in the Federal Marketplace, Labor Rules & Regulations: Federal Market Compliance, and Marketing to Win.

“We are thrilled to see so many of our graduates included in this year’s esteemed list,” said Barbara Ashe, National Director of VIP. “By providing participants with hands-on, market-based instruction from industry and government experts, it’s no surprise that our graduates continue to be some of the fastest growing companies in the nation,” Ashe continued.

The VIP program includes four (4) educational training curriculums for owners, principals, and C‐level executives of VOSB/SDVOSBs. Those programs are VIP START, VIP GROW, VIP INTERNATIONAL and VIP AEROSPACE.  To date, VIP has trained 1,764 veteran-owned companies across all 50 states, D.C., Puerto Rico, and Guam.
