At VIP, we are on a mission to empower Veteran-owned small businesses to thrive in the highly competitive world of federal procurement. We don't just teach Veteran business owners how to compete, comply, and perform; we arm them with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to succeed and sustain in the federal marketplace. At VIP, our commitment to Veteran-owned small businesses is deep-rooted. We are a training organization, but we also provide the catalysts for growth and will always be unwavering advocates of those who served our nation. Our VIP Grads are diverse, with many representing more than one socio-economic category.

We began with a question in 2009, "Why had the federal government not met its 3% Veteran small business goal?" and "What could be done to fix it?" We responded by developing a training program focused on accelerating the success of Veteran-owned small businesses in the federal market.
With the support of SBA, the State of Maryland, and corporate partners and donors, VIP expanded its programs to include six (6) different curriculums. Each is designed to meet the Veteran-owned business where they are in their development. The core training curriculums are: START, GROW, ADVANCE, INTERNATIONAL, AEROSPACE and COMMERCIAL.
